Learn Spanish games and my experience with gaming environment | Good and bad

The other day I went online to find some learn Spanish methods. It appeared to me that one of the best ways to learn it would be to play some learn Spanish games or may be to buy an interactive guide. It something that really struck me as a method working and I must admit that I was convinced that it would work. Just think about it. There is really not that many other solutions that can beat a good old fashioned game. It is not a bad way to approach things, the fun way! I tried other methods of learning Spanish, for example I consulted a portal once http://learnspanishgames.wordpress.com/2008/12/02/learn-spanish-games/ which talked about these things. But they all seemed to be boring, I could never force my self to spend more than a couple of hours playing these games. I appreciated the time and effort that the makers put into those games, but it didn't change their dullness one bit. I went on to look for paid solution, it's my logic that if you pay for something then it's going to be better than it's free counterpart. These methods are becoming more and more popular you know, they often mention in the news and I saw it in a documentary once. This television program was based on a set of interviews with professionals in the education environment, who discussed good and bad ways of learning and remembering. The majority of those methods consisted of interactive techniques and methods which were engaging and fun. When I saw it I got goose bumps, it was so true! Dang, those guys really knew what they were talking about. One popular game of memorization consisted of making up a story, where the main characters were the objects that you had to memorize. Learning Spanish is a passion of mine, I will definitely try these methods. This learn Spanish animated was peculiar. You would walk from one world to the next. Each level had a story behind it. There was a side kick person that would talk in Spanish about everything that you saw. The surrounding were well drawn and incited interest in me. The further I went the more words I would memorize. The Spanish words that were used were pretty simple. Old locations and things would resurface so I would play the back in my mind. The further you went the more you understood that you learned a great deal. It was also very encouraging. You would get words of approval every time you remember an object correctly. Unfortunately it was severe also. You knew right away that you did not remember the right thing, it was very obvious on the characters face. I really liked it and it helped me a lot
